As you all knew by my previous post, I went to Leadership camp held by my foundation course to Gopeng,Perak. Okay. actually, our batch this time are separated into two groups. First group will be going to Trolak, Perak and the second group will be going to Gopeng. In Trolak, there is a resort where the students can stay in the resort and do the activities in the jungle. So, we all that are going to Gopeng thought that we will also be staying in a resort too.
BUT IT TURNS OUT TO BE THE OTHER WAY ROUND! seriously. It is the totally opposite of Trolak. We have to stay in this so-called EARTH CAMP, where there is no pillow, the bed is not called bed, super cold at night and the toilets are outside.
THE TOILETS ARE THE CUBICLE TOILETS!!
*cool but SUCH A BIG NO-NO*
We were like in a refugee camp okay!!! We were like..
"YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!"
Well, it turns out to be fun and awesome!

As soon as we arrive, there is a little game. :D

Hazira face was full with our signs. *Haha*

Playing the game with Mr. G

Okay. Great. Now my face pulak kene calit.

All of us before we all get our shower and ready for dinner. :D

The second day of camping, heading to sungai kampar where we did our water rafting.
We went there by lorry!! *Haha
All of us are so excited..

Our guide give briefing on what to do in the water
1) SMILE.
2) DON'T PANIC
3) REACH OUT FOR THE ROPE IF YOU CAN'T SWIM
*apparently none of us swim eventhough they know how to swim because of the rapid.*

Yeah.. everyone is like this.. Panicking all the way. *Haha

Listening attentively to the briefing.

There are a lot of instructions that we have to follow:
If the guide said, on hold, means stop paddling and hold tight to the rope of the boat
If the guide said, on the job, means can sit back to our position
If the guide said, to the left, to the left, means people who are sitting on the right side of the boat have to go the left side and vice versa
If the guide said, bumbum, means everyone squat down and hold tight to the rope of the boat and try not to fell from the boat *but naahh not gonna happen cuz they will make sure that all of us will get wet and drank the water.
If the guide said, fire in the whole, means we splash the water to another boat that is near to our boat
:D

About to start rafting :D

The position they are doing is called 'on hold' :D

This means, high five. :D

That is my boat with Elin, Hazira and Alena

Rest for awhile because we have to paddle for 10km before we reach our campsite.

Got stuck at the rock. :D

Paddle forward!Paddle forward!

Still happy eventhough drowned for 3 times already. *Haha

All of us! HELP students.

Us again. :D

Okay. This is on Saturday evening right after water rafting in the morning.
We were listening to safety briefing about what we are going to do.
It is the high ropes activity

We have to wear the helmet, the harnes and the cows tail. :D

Smile, Elin! :D

It is crazy hard!

My legs were shaking while I was up there.

Yeap yeap. Because of this, my muscles cannot contract at all.

This is very hard because we have to grab the rope and swing like tarzan.

We are 'sheeps'

This is on Sunday morning where the activity is like treasure hunt except that we have to find our own way to the Gua Kandu and get back to the mountain school.

We were almost there to the mouth of Gua Kandu!! :D

Yeap yeap we made it. And next, we have to go inside the cave and follow the instructions by finding the hints and by following our compass.

Obviously Im excited to reach Gua Kandu. :D
It is the 8th largest cave in the Peninsular Malaysia.

Again. We have to use the rope to climb up the cave and to find the way out.
The cave is dark and muddy.

Still happy in the cave. haha

Holding Elin because it is so dark and they just gave us 3 candles. NO TORCHLIGHTS.

Final events.
The Quest of the Magic Fire.

This is when we were going down from the gua kandu by sliding ourselves through the bushes and trees for about 100 metres down.

Final event is done.

Heading back to our earth camp, take a shower, have our lunch and HEADING BACK TO KL!!
woot wott
Overall, it is fun! Got the chance to be in the cave of Kandu. *it is named after a boy who was lost in the cave and never been found*
BUT MY ARMS AND LEGS ARE KILLING ME.
SO TIRING!!
